PRODUCTS I'VE USED
There are a number of Products out there that I would love to get my hands on based on the company's description. One thing has been stopping me from splurging or a Haul. Well first off, I'm not a Product Junkie and second; I don't know if the products Deliver what is promised or safe for my natural hair.

I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO USING THE SHEA MOISTURE BRAND (COCONUT & HIBISCUS) LINE:
I PURCHASED A 4 PIECE MINI STARTER KIT TO SAMPLE I MUST SAY: ...it does deliver good results. The Non-Sulfate Shampoo is safe and doesn't strip my hair dry. The Curl&Style Milk (reduce frizz/defines curls/Moisturizes) and Moisturizing Cream (Enhances Curls)/Moisturizes) are good as well. OK is all but Nothing Fabulous like a few of the reviewers were ranting and raving about. This line worked with my hair and not against it which is a plus, but it was not SUPER!; just good or OK. Most of these product lines are more suitable for loose curl pattern or non-kinky curly hair textures. My hair is Afro Kinky Tightly Coiled, so may need to continue to explore.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE AT ALL:
...was the Hold & Shine Moisture Mist. It leaves my hair kind of oily and sticky. I find that water
bottle w/2tbsp of natural Oil works better at keeping my hair Hydrated & Moisturized.
NEED TO TRIAL:
I have to try the Deep Conditioner & Leave-in Conditioner (if there is one). The Trial Kit did not
come with these 2 items.
One Good thing is that my homemade concoctions work wonders for my hair. (My mom and I used to make our own Leave-ins, Conditioners and mix Natural Oils to moisturize my Natural Hair up until I was 13yrs Old. After 13 she cut it all off and applied a Curly Perm) So I pretty much know what to do as far as my Hair Type is concerned, but have a busy schedule; so the convenience of these ready-made products would help a lot if I can find one that works with my hair. I WILL CONTACT A FEW COMPANIES TO REQUEST SOME SAMPLES TO TRIAL. In no way, do I intend on Blowing a whole lot of Money on products. I'm not into the whole Product Junkie thing. & WANT TO USE!
I would love to use the Flexi-Rod Set with the Shea Moisture Hold & Shine Moisturizing Mist and Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I will soon view a Video Review on the products. I will post the Video and Results from my own use of the Flexi-Rod Set with the Shea Products. My Goal is to Achieve very soft, manageable, long-lasting, defined Curls. Optimal Results lasting 4days.
WE WILL DEFINITELY SEE!
